Color scheme for teenagers room
To make a small room seen larger while keeping it cozy, paint 4/5ths of the wall one color and 1/5 another. The usual rule is 3/5ths and 2/5ths but when you want just a scallop or pattern toward the top of the walls, the 4/5ths method works beautifully.
In this particular room (Kelsey's room) we are going to paint the bottom portion the green in the 2nd picture, and the top portion in the pink. Instead of flowers at the top, we are going to place decorative knobs at the points of the scallops that will coordinate with the accent colors of the room.
I will post the before and after pictures.

My Feng Shui Art
This is my newest piece in the Feng Shui Element Balance Series. Often times feng shui can confuse the average person like myself so being the decorator that I am, I decided to create the wealth cure my living room needed with this painting.
The center is copper sheeting that has a patina developing (green) that will change as time goes by.
This Feng Shui Art piece measures 48"x60" on a beautifully wrapped lightweight canvas ready to hang.
$2900.00
Shipping costs not included.
Please contact me for more information. I will add more as I learn myself but please don't hesitate to request a specified element and color combination for your space.

Metal is one of the 5 Elements in Feng Shui. Water is represented by the color black. The stripes are bordered by copper strips that are also showing signs of patina. The stripes represent the elements fire, earth, wood, metal, and water. Below is a closeup of the copper medallion.

Want Fresh?
Want fresh this year and don't know what to do?
Glean the beige and bring on the clean white with crisp greens; any green influenced by yellow is coming into focus with fresh, new botanical greens. Any green representing fresh leaves and grasses (Oprah's favorite is 'new grass green'). Look for greens with names like Gingko and Wasabi.
Purple in any shade will provide the perfect accent.
When fall and winter come, throw in some hues of warm reds, earthy oranges, and healthy browns.
Now that you know what to do, finish your fresh new look with a bouquet of delicious color for your centerpiece. Have your local craft store person put together your favorite flowers in one of these arrangements...and viola!
